Shipping Policy

Barry’s Tea – Shipping Policy

 

Please note our revised Shipping Policy considering the current Covid-19 situation. Certain measures have been put in place to ensure we can provide a reliable service, while maintaining a safe workplace for our employees.

We endeavour to return to our normal service levels once government guidelines permit.

 

1. Ireland and UK Deliveries

1.1 Standard Post is only available on orders shipping to Ireland and the UK. There is an 8kg limit on Standard Postal orders. Tracking is not available on Standard Postal orders.

1.2 DHL Express is available on orders up to 8kg in Ireland and 2kg in the UK. This service is fully tracked, and you will have the flexibility through DHL 'On Demand Delivery' (ODD) to manage your delivery and tailor to your specific preferences.

1.3 Shipping rates are based on delivery location and fixed irrespective of weight / size.

1.4 We aim to process and dispatch your order within 3 working days (Monday to Friday excl. Bank Holidays). DHL Express orders are picked on a priority basis.

1.5 If you select DHL Express, you will receive a message from DHL when your order is dispatched, enabling you to track and manage your delivery. If your dispatch notification is received after 2 p.m. (GMT), the transit time will commence from the following day.

1.6 We use all reasonable endeavours to ensure these times are met, but there may be delays during the current environment.

1.7 We request that you provide both email and mobile contact details to ensure you receive the DHL ‘On Demand Delivery’ notification. Your details are required for the purpose of managing your delivery only, not for marketing reasons.

1.8 If you do not receive your dispatch notification within 4 working days, please contact us directly by Telephone: +353 21 4915000 or e-mail: info@barrystea.ie

1.9 If you do not receive your order within the specified number of days after your order had been dispatched, please contact us directly by Telephone: +353 21 4915000 or e-Mail: info@barrystea.ie

1.10 We will replace lost or damaged orders free of charge.

1.11 If your order is returned to us due to several failed delivery attempts, non-collection, or an incorrect/inaccurate address, we cannot refund any shipping costs.

1.12 The customer must bear the sole cost of any import duties or taxes which are charged by the destination country. It is the responsibility of the customer to know if their order is liable for these charges in advance.

 

2. International Deliveries

2.1 All international orders are shipped with DHL Express. This service is fully tracked, and you will have the flexibility through DHL 'On Demand Delivery' (ODD) to manage your delivery and tailor to your specific preferences.

3. Current Order Restrictions due to Covid-19

3.1 There is a 2kg weight limit on all international orders until further notice (excludes standard postal orders for the Ireland & UK).
